What we collect and why
What you enter in the form — name, email, phone number, the departure you picked and your message — is used to answer you and, where applicable, to manage your booking. If the activity asks you something before you arrive — a weight, a certification level, a flight number, or anything you write in a free-text box — that answer is kept with your booking and is used only to run the activity safely. If the activity requires a liability waiver, the name and date of birth of each participant, and the name of whoever signs for them, are kept with the exact text that was signed. None of it is sold, rented or shared for advertising. It is shared only with the providers needed to run the site and take the payment, and where the law requires it.
On what basis
We handle your data because you asked us to answer you, and because it is needed to perform the booking agreement. Where the law requires us to keep records — tax and accounting rules, for example — we keep them for as long as that requires.
How long we keep it
Inquiries that do not turn into a booking are kept while we are in touch and for a year afterwards. Booking records are kept for as long as tax and accounting rules require.
Your rights
Write to hello@destin-boat.ownyourtours.com and we will act on it: you may ask for a copy of your data, ask us to correct it, or ask us to delete it. We do not sell personal information and we do not share it for cross-context behavioural advertising. If you are in the United Kingdom or the European Union, you also have the right to object, to restrict processing and to data portability, and you may complain to your data protection authority — in the UK, the Information Commissioner’s Office (ico.org.uk).
Security
Data travels encrypted, access is limited to who needs it, and card details never reach this website: they are handled by the payment provider directly.
